WHO WE ARE

HTP Group is a market leading pharmaceutical & beauty retail and wholesale company that offers and distributes a wide range of internationally renowned brands. Since its establishment in 1986, the Group has grown a substantial chain of stores, positioned strategically to the convenience of both customers and health care institutes.

With over 200 employees, HTP stands on a solid infrastructure overseeing to operate 17 stores spread across Bahrain, including in-hospital pharmacies.

WHAT IS OUR STORY

HTP is short for Hamad Town Pharmacies Group, a name that represent a relatively large city in Bahrain, in which the first branch was established in 1985. The company had started with three employees, but with a vision to create a modern pharmacy customer experience, and to become with a close proximity of reach.

  • 19911991

    Relocating Hamad Town Pharmacy store to the High Street in Hamad Town

  • 19931993

    Al Salam Pharmacy in Toubli, which has been relocated to where it is today, in Isa Town. Moreover, in the same year the first warehouse was established to meet the growing demand.

  • 1996 1996

    Al Hikma Pharmacy, Jid Hafs 1997 – Modern Pharmacy, which had been in Karbabad, before it has been moved in 2002, to its current location in Dar Kulaib.

  • 20072007

    Al Quds Pharmacy, Samaheej. In addition, HTP gained the trust of Ibn Al Nafees Hospital to open an in-hospital branch

  • 2010 2010

    Dar Al Salam Pharmacy, Al Qadam. HTP was able to gain the trust of Dar Al Hayat Clinic, to open a branch that represents the operational excellence of HTP

  • 2013 2013

    With growing demand and higher requirement for logistical excellence, a second and larger warehouse was developed in Jid Hafs.

  • 2021 2021

    As HTP strives to ensure the highest standards of storage quality, and to increase the capacity of storage area, the project is underway to develop the largest pharmaceutical warehouse in the kingdom of Bahrain, with an area exceeding 7,600 square meters.
